Technical Producer - Remote Live Events Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Producer to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional live events. This Technical Producer remote position allows you to leverage your technical and project management expertise to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will be part of a well-established, successful, and diverse events and media production company based in the beautiful surroundings of Abney Park in Cheadle, South Manchester.

What You'll Do

• Develop project briefs with clients, advising and guiding them on achievable outcomes.
• Conduct site visits, produce risk assessments, floor plans, method statements, budgets, and technical specifications.
• Manage on-site technical delivery of projects including hybrid meetings and large-scale congresses.
• Oversee the management of third-party suppliers and freelancers during events.
• Collaborate with the technical team to implement new technologies and share industry insights.

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical AV and project management within a similar events agency.
• Excellent communication and client handling skills.
• Ability to produce floor plans and other technical schematics.
• Experience managing clients and event-related suppliers.
• Willingness to consider candidates transitioning from technical roles to project management.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with the healthcare industry and its specific event requirements.
• Experience in managing large-scale congresses with multiple internal meetings.
• Knowledge of current industry trends and technologies.
