About the Role

We're hiring a Technical Business Analyst to join our team at Capita, focusing on integration and automation projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while contributing to impactful projects across various sectors.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze and document technical requirements for system integrations, data flows, and automation solutions.
  • Produce interface specifications, data mappings, and integration patterns.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and DevOps teams to ensure technical feasibility and compliance with architectural standards.
  • Support the creation of technical artifacts, including API specifications and integration catalogs.
  • Ensure all technical designs align with GDS Technology Code of Practice and security standards.
  • Assist in defining test strategies for integration and data validation.
  • Act as a liaison between development teams and business analysts to ensure accurate translation of requirements into technical solutions.
  • Support the testing effort and contribute to technical documentation and release processes.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Technical Business Analyst within integration or automation projects.
  • Experience with platforms such as Oracle Integration Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, data structures, and system interoperability.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid integration scenarios.
  • Ability to produce technical documentation and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of GDS standards and secure design principles.
  • Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, automated testing) is desirable.
  • Exposure to enterprise integration tools and middleware is desirable.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with data validation techniques.
  • Knowledge of security standards in system integration.
