SDET Engineer - QA - Remote Position

About the Role

Jitterbit is seeking a talented SDET Engineer to join our remote team. As a SDET Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our QA processes and ensuring the reliability of our integration solutions. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the world while contributing to a leading provider of integration solutions that automates and orchestrates business systems.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with agile teams to architect, implement, and continuously deliver testing tools and infrastructure for both front-end and back-end components.
  • Utilize technologies such as Node.js, Webdriver.io, and TypeScript to develop and maintain automated test suites.
  • Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions to ensure seamless deployment.
  • Transform manual test coverage into maintainable automated test suites, enhancing the testing feedback loop.
  • Work with various databases and technology endpoints while maintaining a focus on quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Leverage AI tools for test generation and productivity, driving innovation in our testing processes.
  • Communicate effectively with distributed teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in Test or similar role.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python with hands-on experience in modern testing frameworks and tools.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, demonstrating adaptability and teamwork.
  • Hands-on experience testing APIs and integrations to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices to streamline testing processes.
  • Strong communication skills for effective remote collaboration across time zones.
  • Willingness to flex hours for cross-time-zone collaboration, ensuring team cohesion.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of performance testing and security testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
