Sales Development Representative - Remote AI Safety Solutions
About the Role
We're hiring a Sales Development Representative to join our innovative team at Haven Safety AI. This remote position is an exciting opportunity to be one of the first go-to-market hires at a pioneering AI startup focused on occupational safety. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in helping us redefine safety technology.
What You'll Do
- Research, identify, and engage potential customers across target industries.
- Develop tailored outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, phone, events) that resonate with safety leaders.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads, uncovering real pains and readiness for AI-driven safety solutions.
- Partner closely with the CEO and GTM leadership on refining messaging, segmentation, and outbound strategy.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities for Account Executives and leadership.
- Represent Haven at industry conferences, webinars, and events.
- Be the “voice of the market,” sharing insights from conversations with safety leaders back into product and marketing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales or business development at a leading EHS software provider.
- Strong understanding of incident management, root cause analysis, and the daily reality of EHS teams.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, CRM platforms, and Apollo.io.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Comfortable designing and scaling a sales function from scratch.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Thrives in an early-stage environment, excited to shape GTM motion from the ground up.
- U.S.-based with ability to travel for customer meetings and conferences as needed.
