About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Field Sales Representative to join the National Centre for Social Research. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with communities and conduct vital research interviews on significant topics such as health, housing, and transport. As a Field Sales Representative, you will have the flexibility to work remotely while making a meaningful impact on people's lives.

What You'll Do

• Conduct research interviews in various communities, capturing real-life experiences and insights.
• Utilize a tablet or laptop to guide conversations and record responses effectively.
• Manage your schedule to ensure you can meet with participants during weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
• Handle administrative tasks related to your interviews, including travel time and mileage compensation.
• Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure the success of research projects.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving license and sole use of a car.
• Class 1 Business insurance.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to complete a DBS check.
• Reliable home broadband and a laptop or tablet with a camera.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Availability of at least 18 hours per week.
• Flexibility to work during various hours, including evenings and weekends.

Nice to Have

• Experience in retail, hospitality, administration, driving, sales, or any customer-facing role.
• Good time management and prioritization skills.
• Friendly and professional demeanor.
