Remote Web Analyst - Data and Analytics at Best Egg

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Web Analyst to join our dynamic team at Best Egg, a leading tech-enabled financial platform. As a Remote Web Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Web Data and Analytics team by building and maintaining the reporting function of web analytics. Your insights will help our customers make informed financial decisions and enhance their overall experience with our platform.

What You'll Do

• Build, analyze, and vocalize insights for Best Egg’s customer journeys across various channels, products, and experiences.
• Create visualizations around customer experiences, identifying conversion points, drop-offs, and pain points in the customer journey.
• Develop reports and dashboards for ad-hoc inquiries and overarching business objectives, product measurement, and strategy.
• Conduct tagging work within Segment to connect new destinations and enhance the capabilities of first and third-party data.
• Maintain and enhance web data and analytics funnel reports in Mode to provide a comprehensive view of the customer.
• Support key stakeholder groups with OKRs and project efforts across Marketing, Product, Data Science, and Engineering.
• Measure, analyze, and interpret A/B testing results to evaluate the performance of various funnel experiments.
• Help establish and report on marketing attribution, conversion, and lifetime value (LTV).

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience working with web analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Familiarity with tag management systems such as Tealium, GTM, or Segment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of digital analytics tools like Amplitude, FullStory, Google Analytics, and Adobe Analytics.
• Experience with BI tools such as Mode, Looker, or Tableau is a plus.
• Strong SQL skills are preferred but not required.
• Team-oriented mentality with a willingness to help drive growth and solve problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Data Studio.
• Technical background is highly desired.
