About the Role

We are looking for a Remote Social Media Content Specialist to join our dynamic team at AllTrails. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging content that resonates with our audience and promotes outdoor exploration. As a Social Media Content Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand visibility and inspiring people to connect with nature.

What You'll Do

• Concept, create, and edit platform-native social media content, primarily focusing on Instagram and TikTok.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive social content calendar, ensuring timely and culturally relevant publishing.
• Spot and adapt trends, formats, and cultural moments that align with the AllTrails brand.
• Write clear and engaging captions and short-form copy that reflect our brand voice.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and cross-functional partners to bring campaigns and key moments to life.
• Incorporate user-generated content and community insights in partnership with the Community Manager.
• Track content performance to understand audience engagement and refine our social media strategy.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience creating content for social media platforms.
• Strong understanding of short-form video and platform-native storytelling.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative and eager to learn and grow within the team.
• Passionate about social media, digital culture, and the outdoors.

Nice to Have

• Experience with analytics tools to measure content performance.
• Familiarity with outdoor recreation and trail exploration.
