About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Senior Software Engineer to join our team and make a significant impact on our technical search visibility initiatives. In this role, you will drive organic traffic and enhance customer experience across millions of web pages. As a key member of the MET team, you will collaborate closely with Marketing and Product teams to develop scalable solutions that optimize SEO performance.

What You'll Do

  • Lead complete SEO and AEO projects independently with minimal guidance.
  • Design, build, and ship high-quality full-stack features to enhance search engine visibility.
  • Architect scalable solutions applying technical knowledge to optimize search rankings.
  • Design and maintain efficient data pipelines for SEO and AEO.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product stakeholders to influence technical direction.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of software engineering experience with proficiency in React, Ruby, Python, PostgreSQL, and SQL.
  • Proven ability to lead projects end-to-end including architecture design and implementation.
  • Experience with distributed systems and data engineering practices.
  • Ability to design for performance, scalability, and robustness.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience mentoring engineers.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices.
  • Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
