Remote Regulatory & Product Counsel - Legal Compliance

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Regulatory & Product Counsel to join our team at Lucid Software. As a leader in visual collaboration, we empower teams to turn ideas into reality. This role is crucial as you will be the legal point of contact for our cross-functional teams, advising on compliance requirements, including privacy regulations. You will work in a hybrid environment, supporting our mission to protect our users and maintain our reputation as a trusted software provider.

What You'll Do

• Advise on the implementation of privacy and compliance requirements across various departments, including engineering and marketing.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure legal compliance in product development and deployment.
• Support the Compliance team in developing and maintaining policies and procedures.
• Conduct legal research and provide guidance on regulatory changes that impact our business.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on compliance-related topics.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• 3-5 years of experience in a regulatory or compliance role, preferably in the tech industry.
• Strong understanding of privacy laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
