Europe Accounting & HR Generalist - Hybrid Role

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Europe Accounting & HR Generalist to join our team at Samtec, a leading manufacturer in the electromechanical components market. This hybrid role combines core accounting responsibilities with HR generalist duties, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, and compliance with local labor laws. As a Europe Accounting & HR Generalist, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and providing hands-on HR support across our European offices.

What You'll Do

• Manage the German Office Workday procure-to-pay process, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Lead the credit control team and oversee billing processes for the office.
• Coordinate employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
• Act as a business partner to other departments, providing financial insights and support.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for roles in Europe, ensuring timely hiring and candidate experience improvement.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a combined HR/Finance role, ideally supporting Germany, France, and the UK.
• Strong knowledge of HGB and basic understanding of IFRS.
• Fluent in English and German with excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with HRIS and accounting tools (e.g., ADP, Jobvite, Workday).
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
