Remote Program Manager - Power Distribution

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Program Manager for Power Distribution to join our dynamic team at Sigma Technologies. As a leader in telecommunications, particularly in outside plant (OSP) fiber design and fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) projects, we are committed to delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions for power utility companies. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while leading program execution and ensuring project success.

What You'll Do

• Lead program execution from start to finish, ensuring that all projects meet their goals and objectives.
• Mentor and support project managers, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
• Manage client relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and build strong partnerships.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor KPIs and optimize workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct risk management and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.
• Prepare and approve project change orders as necessary to adapt to changing project conditions.
• Ensure successful program closure and document lessons learned for future reference.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• 7+ years of experience in the Power Utility Industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry standards and practices.
• 3+ years of people management experience, showcasing leadership capabilities.
• Project Management Certification (PMP) is required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
• Results-driven with a focus on customer satisfaction and project outcomes.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Willingness to travel regularly (30%+) to meet client needs.
• Dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Experience with fiber optic projects or telecommunications infrastructure.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Strong analytical skills to assess project performance and identify improvement areas.
