We are seeking a detail-oriented Lynx Audio Transcription Specialist - Russian Remote to join our dynamic team at Welocalize. In this role, you will work remotely to transcribe audio recordings with precision, ensuring that our clients can effectively communicate with their audiences worldwide. What You'll Do

• Listen to audio recordings in Russian and transcribe content with a high level of accuracy.
• Add timestamps to transcriptions to ensure alignment with the audio.
• Tag recordings with emotions, context, and other relevant metadata to enhance project deliverables.
• Ensure that transcriptions are culturally relevant and reflect the intended tone and meaning of the recordings.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure consistency and quality across all transcriptions.
• Meet project deadlines and adhere to specific transcription guidelines and formatting requirements.
• Commit to a flexible schedule with a minimum of 10-15 hours per week.
• Work as a freelance/independent contractor.

Requirements

• Must have native or professional proficiency in Russian and strong English proficiency.
• Prior experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic projects is highly desirable.
• Ability to understand and differentiate regional dialects, emotions, and contextual cues in audio recordings.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to deliver error-free transcriptions.
• Familiarity with transcription tools/software and the ability to work with timestamps and tagging.
• Availability to commit to deadlines and deliver consistent, high-quality work.

• Experience with audio editing software.
