About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Regional Director of Clinical Services (RN) remote to lead our clinical teams across the Eastern Iowa Region. This role is pivotal in mentoring Directors of Nursing (DONs) and ensuring exceptional care in skilled nursing communities. What You'll Do

  • Mentor and support DONs in clinical care, regulatory compliance, and survey readiness.
  • Conduct on-site visits for quality checks, assessments, and staff education.
  • Lead in-services, assist with onboarding, and develop strategic nursing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operations on staffing and equipment needs.
  • Support clinical programs and leverage technology to improve workflows.

Requirements

  • Licensed RN in the state of Iowa.
  • 5+ years in long-term care preferred; 2+ years in nursing leadership preferred.
  • Prior DON experience is essential for developing and supporting clinical leadership.
  • Strong regulatory knowledge and experience mentoring clinical leaders.
  • Comfortable with regular travel to facilities; some overnight stays required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement initiatives in healthcare.
  • Experience in a multi-site healthcare organization.
