Quality Control Intern - Fruit-tella (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Control Intern to join our team at Perfetti Van Melle, specifically for our Fruit-tella brand. This internship offers a unique opportunity to dive into the world of quality assurance and processes while ensuring our products meet the highest standards. As a Quality Control Intern, you will work closely with our QC department, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

• Conduct quality inspections of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods using the AQL method.
• Monitor internal quality standards, including hygiene rounds and product controls.
• Assist in both internal and external audits, contributing to our commitment to quality.
• Document and report quality findings to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
• Identify deviations and collaborate on improvement initiatives.
• Participate in projects focused on process optimization and food safety.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a 3rd or 4th-year student in Food Technology, Nutritional Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of quality management processes.
• Proficient in Dutch, both written and spoken.
• Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and capable of working independently.
• Ability to think critically and contribute to process improvements.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a quality control environment.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations.
• Interest in the FMCG sector.
