About the Role

We are looking for a talented Proofreader & Customer Support Specialist (French-English) to join our dynamic team at Kendago. This remote role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a global leader in Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) digital marketing and advertising. As a Proofreader & Customer Support Specialist, you will ensure that our creative materials are accurately localized for the French-speaking market. Your expertise will help us maintain the highest quality standards in our communications.

What You'll Do

  • Proofread and localize creative materials for the French-speaking market.
  • Translate mainly video ads from English to French, ensuring that all translations are grammatically correct and sound natural.
  • Work remotely as a freelancer for at least 120 hours during the first 2 months.
  • Maintain high concentration and attention to detail while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a winning team.
  • Utilize your excellent command of both French and English to produce high-quality translations.
  • Demonstrate great interpersonal skills while interacting with team members and clients.
  • Organize and focus on tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements

  • Excellent command of French, both written and spoken - a must.
  • B.A. or currently a student in relevant fields - a must.
  • Great linguistic skills with the ability to perform under tight deadlines.
  • Positive, team player attitude, diligent, and kind.
  • Effective multi-tasker with a can-do attitude.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in customer support or a related field.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts.
  • Previous freelance experience is a plus.
