About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated People Operations Specialist to join Abnormal Security, a forward-thinking cybersecurity company. This remote role focuses on enhancing the employee experience and optimizing lifecycle processes. As a People Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance and providing exceptional service to employees in a remote-first environment.

What You'll Do

• Own and improve employee lifecycle processes to enhance the overall employee experience.
• Document and implement procedures for scalability, ensuring our operations can grow efficiently.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings as a subject matter expert, contributing your insights to various teams.
• Provide exceptional service to employees, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
• Manage compliance tracking and audits to ensure adherence to regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with various teams to support lifecycle processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Mentor Coordinators and interns, sharing your knowledge and experience to foster their growth.
• Lead projects assigned by management, driving initiatives that align with our company goals.
• Support compliance reporting requirements, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Design and test process automation and improvements, leveraging technology to streamline operations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of People Operations or HR experience, with a strong understanding of the employee lifecycle.
• HRIS experience, preferably with Workday, to manage employee data effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address challenges proactively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to connect with employees at all levels.
• High integrity in handling sensitive information, ensuring confidentiality and trust.
• Experience mentoring team members, contributing to their professional development.
