Remote Armenian Contract Interpreter

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Armenian Contract Interpreter to join our team at Propio Language Services. This role is essential in bridging communication gaps across diverse communities. As a Remote Armenian Contract Interpreter, you will provide high-quality interpretation services, ensuring effective communication for our clients. This position allows you to work from anywhere in the world while contributing to meaningful interactions.

What You'll Do

• Provide consecutive, first-person interpretation for various clients, including medical, legal, and social services.
• Adhere to interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio Language Services.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interpretation tasks.
• Continuously enhance your vocabulary and knowledge in specialized subject areas.
• Complete a Mock oral interpretation session and be evaluated against 24 quality standards.
• Submit an updated resume in English at the time of application.
• Complete the English Language Proficiency assessment with a rating of “technical proficiency” (3 or higher on the ILR scale).
• Pass the online Medical Terminology, Anatomy, and Physiology Assessment.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Armenian and English, with a focus on technical vocabulary.
• Experience in interpretation or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to undergo a full background check and security screen.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in medical or legal interpretation.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and confidentiality protocols.
• Additional language skills are a plus.
