About the Role

Join us as a Part-Time Transportation Bus Driver at Walt Disney World, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests. What You'll Do

  • Operate buses and passenger vans safely, ensuring compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and local traffic laws.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness to provide a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Assist guests with boarding, including operating accessibility lifts and securing wheelchairs.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and dispatch operators, providing safety information and route details.
  • Adapt to changing routes based on guest demand and operational needs.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and provide a warm welcome to all guests.
  • Handle emergency situations with care and responsibility.
  • Engage in prolonged standing and physical activities during peak hours to ensure crowd control.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Florida Driver’s License.
  • Minimum of 5 years of licensed operating experience, with at least 3 years in the United States.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proven record of following state and federal motor vehicle regulations.
  • Willingness to undergo training to acquire a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) if hired.
  • Availability for the first 8-12 weeks after starting to ensure proper training.
  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and twist while securing guests and equipment.
  • Experience in a related bus driving role is preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Florida CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement.
  • Bilingual abilities to enhance guest interactions.
