What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain backend services that enhance AI functionalities within payroll systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust API integrations.
• Work with unstructured data and ETL pipelines to ensure seamless data processing.
• Integrate AI APIs into production systems to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of backend architecture and performance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong skills in API integration and development.
• Hands-on experience with AI APIs and familiarity with data processing techniques.
• Comfortable working with unstructured data and implementing ETL processes.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python scripting for AI workflows.
• Familiarity with OpenAI, Gemini, or Anthropic APIs.
• Background in building chatbots or conversational interfaces.
• Understanding of prompt engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with document/file parsing (CSV, PDF, Excel).
