Outbound Sales Specialist - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
Join Too Good To Go as an Outbound Sales Specialist and help us tackle the global food waste crisis. This remote opportunity allows you to work from Bologna while making a significant impact on our planet. As an Outbound Sales Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our mission to connect with local food businesses and inspire them to join our fight against food waste.
What You'll Do
- Research the market to identify potential restaurant and food retailer partners.
- Proactively reach out to prospects via phone, email, and in-person visits to build relationships.
- Spend over 70% of your time engaging with restaurant owners and onboarding new partners.
- Travel across Emilia-Romagna to establish strong partnerships and introduce them to Too Good To Go.
- Train new partners on how to use our app effectively and provide tailored solutions for reducing food waste.
- Work towards weekly and monthly sales targets and KPIs.
- Collaborate with marketing and growth teams to maximize outreach efforts and results.
Requirements
- Initial experience in sales, particularly in cold acquisition.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with people in various formats.
- Fluency in Italian and a good command of spoken and written English.
- Located in Bologna or Modena, with a willingness to travel.
- A genuine passion for the mission of reducing food waste.
- Positive, proactive, and creative mindset.
- Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
- Previous experience in the food sector is advantageous.
