What You'll Do

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear that fits their lifestyle and visual needs.
• Dispense lenses with the correct prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and comfort.
• Educate patients on proper eyeglass and contact lens care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of eyewear products and industry trends.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding order statuses and resolve any issues that arise.
• Utilize tools such as pupilometers and lensometers for precise measurements and adjustments.
• Collaborate with store managers and technicians to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Perform regular cleaning and organization of the workspace to maintain a professional environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as an Optician is a plus.
• Previous experience in eyewear sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with optical tools and equipment.
• Basic computer skills for managing patient records and orders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Knowledge of insurance processes related to eyewear.
• Fluency in a second language.
