About the Role

We are seeking a talented Mobile Engineering Manager to lead our design system initiatives in a fully remote capacity. As a Mobile Engineering Manager - Design System, you will play a crucial role in shaping our mobile engineering practices, ensuring high-quality deliverables while fostering a collaborative team environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of mobile engineers, driving best practices in React, React Native, and mobile development.
• Oversee the development and implementation of our design system, ensuring consistency and usability across mobile applications.
• Collaborate with product management and design teams to define project scope and deliverables.
• Utilize data analysis and A/B testing to inform engineering decisions and improve product performance.
• Manage compensation and salary structures, including cash incentive programs for team members.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through agile methodologies and effective communication.
• Contribute to software architecture discussions and decisions, ensuring scalability and maintainability of mobile applications.
• Engage in career development discussions with team members, providing guidance and support for their growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in mobile engineering, with a focus on team leadership and project management.
• Strong proficiency in React, React Native, and mobile development frameworks.
• Experience with design systems and best practices in user experience.
• Familiarity with data analytics, SQL, and business intelligence tools.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Proven track record of mentoring and developing engineering talent.
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of machine learning and AI workflows.
• Experience with Flutter and cross-platform mobile development.
• Background in data science or marketing analytics.
