Mid-Senior DevOps/​Backend Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Senior DevOps/Backend Engineer to join our team at Bespoke Labs. This is a fully remote position where you will play a crucial role in our new AI training initiative. As a DevOps/Backend Engineer, you will leverage your real-world engineering experience to help design and document authentic DevOps and backend scenarios that will directly train next-generation AI systems.

What You’ll Do

• Capture real DevOps and backend incidents and convert them into benchmark tasks.
• Contribute to secure, scalable, Kubernetes-native architectures.
• Work across CI/CD, observability, identity, infrastructure-as-code, and backend services.
• Collaborate with our team to build realistic engineering workflows.
• Utilize your expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines to enhance our systems.

Requirements

• 5-12 years of strong hands-on experience in DevOps and/or Backend Engineering.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD (GitLab CI preferred), Go, Python, Java, Docker, and gRPC.
• Experience with secure, offline/air-gapped deployments is a big plus.
• Familiarity with at least five of the following: Identity & Access Management, Observability (Prometheus + Grafana), CI/CD Pipelines, Keycloak, GitLab CI.
• Experience with Terraform OSS and Kubernetes tools & ecosystem is desirable.

Nice to Have

• Experience with ML/Distributed pipelines.
