About the Role

We are looking for a Mid Data Developer to join our team at CI&T. This Mid Data Developer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to scalable tech solutions. As a part of our team, you will collaborate with over 8,000 CI&Ters worldwide and engage with more than 1,000 clients in our 30-year history.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement data ingestion and processing architectures at scale.
  • Develop and maintain Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions.
  • Create robust data solutions using SQL Server.
  • Utilize Qlikview and Nprinting to develop data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate data from various sources.
  • Propose continuous improvements to existing processes and architectures.
  • Document solutions and best practices to ensure system maintenance and evolution.
  • Make data-driven decisions to enhance business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience with SQL Server in table modeling, view definitions, and developing programming structures (procedures, functions, triggers, etc.) using T-SQL and optimizing queries.
  • Experience with Data Warehouse solutions.
  • Familiarity with Big Data, distributed processing, and data integration.
  • Experience with reporting and processing tools like Qlikview and Nprinting.
  • Strong knowledge of data ingestion architecture and ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Understanding of data modeling and governance best practices.
  • Proficiency in languages such as Python and SQL, along with orchestration tools.
  • Experience with data product versioning using Git.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the financial market.
  • Experience with cloud environments (Azure).
  • Certifications in Azure or Big Data.
  • Knowledge of SAS, Informatica PowerCenter, PowerBI, Databricks, and Integration Services.
