About the Role

We are seeking a Marketing Director - Remote to lead our efforts in establishing MatchWornShirt as a dominant player in the collectors' market in the United States. As the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for positioning and growing the MWS brand, driving the US marketing strategy, and connecting with fans and collectors.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the US marketing strategy and oversee activations across the full marketing spectrum.
  • Launch and activate major partnerships in soccer and basketball to expand the MWS brand impact.
  • Create US-specific marketing strategies to grow brand awareness and position MWS as the ultimate home of match-worn shirt culture.
  • Execute brand campaigns and activations for major global events, such as the World Cup.
  • Manage the US marketing budget and maximize marketing ROI.
  • Work closely with the Head of Partnerships US, the Business Development team in Dallas, and the Global Head of Brand Marketing in Amsterdam.
  • Manage US agencies and potentially oversee a Media Manager.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of broad experience in brand marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field.
  • Deep knowledge of sports marketing and a passion for the industry.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, communications, and influencer marketing.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A US passport or valid working rights for the US.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in managing large-scale marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with the latest marketing technologies and tools.
  • Previous experience in a remote work environment.
