Program Planner - Remote Role at Booz Allen Hamilton
About the Role
We're hiring a Program Planner to join Booz Allen Hamilton's team. As a Program Planner, you’ll provide essential infrastructure planning, analysis, and support for international infrastructure projects and facilities initiatives that enable U.S. and Allied operations. This remote Program Planner position is a unique opportunity to work closely with U.S. and international partners, enhancing mission effectiveness through strategic planning and execution.
What You'll Do
- Analyze military plans and identify facilities and logistics requirements to support those plans.
- Coordinate with host nations to execute military operations effectively.
- Assess regional infrastructure requirements and evaluate capabilities to develop execution plans.
- Monitor progress to achieve infrastructure capability and capacity goals.
- Prepare briefs, reports, and planning documents on equities.
- Provide technical advice to enhance program efficiencies through collaboration with external organizations.
- Support bi- and multilateral meetings by preparing products and agendas, reviewing documents, and coordinating meetings.
- Travel up to 25% of the time by air or ground as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- 4+ years of experience at a combatant command or service headquarters.
- 3+ years of experience in Department of Defense (DoD) infrastructure planning and execution.
- 2+ years of experience with NATO planning or resourcing.
- Ability to support rotating shift schedules and surge operations during crises.
- TS/SCI clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience with defense or joint planning, or a Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience.
Nice If You Have
- Experience in developing and implementing Area Development Plans.
- Familiarity with data-enabled planning tools like MAVEN Smart System and One Brief.
- Experience working with DoD service component commands.
- Experience in a DoD joint overseas environment.
- Project or Program Management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- PMP Certification.
