Controls Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Controls Engineer to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Controls Engineer, you will represent the Commissioning department and be the first point of contact for feasibility analyses. Your expertise will help ensure that our planning documents comply with quality standards, and you will report any defects to the engineering planning department. What You'll Do

• Conduct feasibility analyses and check planning documents for compliance with quality standards.
• Create functional descriptions for each project to commission the system effectively.
• Maintain open and supportive communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Record complex technical issues and communicate them clearly in both written and verbal formats.
• Utilize your knowledge of S7 control technology to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

• Completed technical education (TU, FH, HTL, IT apprenticeship).
• Several years of professional experience in controls engineering.
• Basic knowledge of S7 control technology.
• Ability to understand and communicate complex technical issues.
• Familiarity with logistical interrelationships.
• Excellent command of English and a strong willingness to learn.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a similar role within the industrial tech sector.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages or control systems.
