Marketing Data Quality Specialist - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Marketing Data Quality Specialist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will focus on enhancing the completeness, accuracy, and usability of our marketing database, ensuring that our data quality supports effective marketing strategies and sales alignment.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct thorough audits of the Marketo database to identify gaps in data completeness, quality, and alignment with database health metrics.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Analytics team to design and develop the Marketing Database Health dashboard, showcasing data quality trends and improvements.
  • Map data completeness and quality by source (forms, integrations, list imports) and create a roadmap for remediation.
  • Ensure that the marketing database and lead data strategy align with Sales Ops and account-level data strategies.
  • Implement a data cleanup and normalization schedule, standardizing job titles, persona fields, and other key lead attributes.
  • Maintain and improve lead deduplication processes to enhance data integrity.
  • Support ad hoc data quality initiatives, including reviewing integrations, triggers, and lead flows.
  • Document processes, maintain change logs, and support governance initiatives to ensure sustainable data operations.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing operations, database management, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Marketo and Salesforce, including reporting, workflows, and lead scoring.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data trends and identify root causes.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, or BI tools (Tableau, Looker).
  • Strong attention to detail and familiarity with working with large datasets.
  • Ability to interpret dashboards and metrics, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to lead projects while collaborating with team members.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude) and prompt engineering.
  • Proficiency with API integration, webhooks, and workflow automation tools.
  • Working knowledge of automation tools (Zapier, Make.com, n8n).
