Global Benefits Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Global Benefits Specialist remote to join our dynamic team at AlphaSense. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in benefits management to support our global workforce, ensuring that our employees receive the best possible benefits. You will report directly to the VP of People Operations and play a critical role in enhancing our employee experience.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and administer employee benefit programs, including insurance plans, time off policies, wellness initiatives, and non-salary compensation for EMEA and backup regions.
• Maintain compliance with local labor laws and regulations to ensure our benefits programs meet all legal requirements.
• Provide guidance to employees on benefits, addressing inquiries or concerns effectively.
• Collaborate with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of benefit services.
• Assist in global benefits harmonization efforts, sharing and creating best practices across regions.
• Support benefits-related updates or enhancements in Workday and other systems.
• Draft, maintain, and optimize process and policy documentation related to benefits.
• Manage benefits invoice reconciliation in collaboration with our Finance team.
• Assist with annual benefit renewal and enrollment processes and the implementation of new programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in Human Resources, with 2-3 years of global benefits-specific experience.
• Experience working for pre-IPO and/or publicly traded companies is preferred.
• Proficiency in Workday for benefits management is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local labor laws in EMEA; familiarity with US and/or APAC regulations is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adjust messaging based on audience and employee needs.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel for data auditing and analysis.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while organizing processes and documentation.
