QA Engineer - Swagger Functional Testing

About the Role

We are seeking a talented QA Engineer to join our team at SmartBear, where you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our innovative products, including Swagger Functional Testing. This QA Engineer remote position offers you the chance to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of tools trusted by over 16 million developers worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Conduct acceptance testing, regression testing, and test automation to deliver the highest quality experience to users.
• Plan tests for developed features and collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, and developers.
• Create and maintain automated tests for UI and backend APIs.
• Review results of automated tests and log defects to ensure thorough testing.
• Perform performance and stress testing to validate system robustness.
• Conduct manual testing, including exploratory and non-functional testing, using Zephyr Scale.
• Monitor and measure test coverage to enhance test scenarios continually.
• Provide feedback on techniques, solutions, and tools used throughout projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance within a production environment.
• Proficiency in testing web applications and experience with JavaScript for test automation.
• Familiarity with API testing tools and web UI testing tools such as Playwright, TestComplete, or Cypress.
• A risk-based approach to testing.
• Experience with JIRA, Zephyr Scale, OAuth2, Kafka, AWS, or Figma is a plus.
