We are seeking a Market Sales Representative II (remote) to join our team at Dawn Foods. What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with baking industry customers across your assigned territory.
  • Provide on-site consultation and sales expertise to exceed sales and margin targets.
  • Prospect new customers while minimizing lost business through effective account management.
  • Calculate margins, negotiate terms, and prepare estimates using Dawn's pricing models.
  • Promote and demonstrate Dawn's online ordering platform to drive growth.
  • Document sales funnel activities and utilize Salesforce CRM for effective customer management.
  • Educate customers on our payment portal and ensure understanding of credit policies.
  • Participate in experiential learning opportunities to expand sales capabilities.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in outside customer-facing sales.
  • Successful consultative sales experience within B2B foodservice or similar distribution models.
  • Proficient in digital CRM solutions, particularly Salesforce.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience in a commissioned and/or performance-driven pay structure.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

Nice to Have

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Culinary Arts.
  • Hands-on experience with bakery products and operations.
  • Spanish-speaking capabilities are preferred.
