Maintenance Technician - Hotel Operations

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Palladium Hotel Group. This Maintenance Technician role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel facilities. You will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and preservation of all installations and materials within the establishment, adhering to established quality and efficiency standards. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll work under the supervision of the Head of Technical Services and the Deputy Head of Technical Services.

What You'll Do

• Perform technical maintenance tasks autonomously, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and efficiency standards.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in hotel facilities, applying technical knowledge to ensure optimal functioning of systems and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on installations, equipment, and systems to prevent service interruptions.
• Maintain tools and equipment in excellent condition, reporting any anomalies or hazards to your supervisor.
• Collaborate with other technicians on complex repairs and improvement projects, ensuring effective coordination and achievement of objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
• Basic English proficiency is required.
• Desirable: Intermediate vocational training in plumbing and electricity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have

• 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Advanced technical knowledge of hotel installations, including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
