Warehouse Operative - Logistics Career Opportunity

About the Role

Are you looking for a stable, secure warehousing role? Join us as a Warehouse Operative remote at GXO Logistics in Swindon, where you can build a career in logistics. In this role, you will support our customer, B&Q, by handling various warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching orders.

What You'll Do

• Perform a range of warehouse tasks, including picking, loading/unloading vehicles, and operating FLT and pallet trucks using RF systems.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time, such as returns manifests and daily driver records.
• Ensure operational standards and customer service requirements are met by achieving site KPIs and maintaining high-quality performance in all activities.
• Carry out housekeeping where required, upholding site standards while following Health & Safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience within a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills while working as part of a team.
• A strong focus on safety and reliability, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands and shift patterns.
• Experience operating or holding a valid certificate of competence for Counterbalance/Reach Truck would be an advantage, but not essential.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a similar role within logistics.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
