Lifecycle Marketing Manager - Remote Position
About the Role
We're hiring a hands-on Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team at Renmoney. This remote position offers the opportunity to build and scale data-driven marketing journeys that activate, engage, and retain customers across our diverse financial products. As a Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer experience and driving growth.
What You'll Do
- Own multi-channel lifecycle programs across email, push notifications, SMS, WhatsApp, and in-app communications, managing everything from onboarding to win-back strategies.
- Develop segmentation frameworks based on persona, behavioral insights, and lifecycle stages to create personalized journeys at scale.
- Build and operate in Customer.io (or similar platforms), ensuring effective journey mapping, data requirements, quality assurance, frequency caps, and governance.
- Run an experimentation program including A/B tests, multivariate tests, and holdouts to improve conversion rates, retention, lifetime value (LTV), and campaign ROI.
- Measure and report on performance metrics such as cohort retention, funnel conversion, and attribution, maintaining clear dashboards and insights for stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Data, and Growth teams to align messaging, ensure data quality, and meet regulatory requirements.
- Write and edit channel-ready copy, providing clear briefs to content and design teams while maintaining brand tone and standards.
- Maintain operational excellence by managing naming conventions, event hygiene, deliverability, and preference management.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Lifecycle, CRM, Retention, or Growth Marketing, preferably in fintech or financial services.
- Proven hands-on experience with Customer.io or comparable platforms such as Braze, Iterable, or Klaviyo.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to segment data, conduct basic analysis, and understand attribution; familiarity with analytics/BI tools like Mixpanel or PowerBI.
- Excellent written English with strong copywriting and editorial skills for both short- and long-form communications.
- Solid project management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with mobile engagement, WhatsApp Business, and deliverability best practices.
- Knowledge of experiment design and statistical interpretation.
- Familiarity with attribution tools such as AppsFlyer.
- Understanding of the Nigerian consumer landscape.
