Lead User Interface Designer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead User Interface Designer to join our team at Unified Infotech. This remote role offers a unique opportunity to lead design initiatives and create exceptional user experiences. As a Lead User Interface Designer, you will be responsible for driving the design vision and ensuring that our products stand out in the competitive landscape.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design process for website pages, emails, brochures, and other marketing materials to optimize user experience and enhance brand visibility.
• Collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and overall user experience.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering and marketing teams.
• Conceptualize original ideas that simplify complex design challenges and enhance user-friendliness.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to inform design decisions.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards across the organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience in UI design with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and OmniGraffle.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
• Excellent visual design skills with a keen sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Ability to present your designs and effectively communicate solutions to various stakeholders.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in an agency environment.
