About the Role

We are seeking a talented Lead Marketer, Communications to join our team at HubSpot. In this Lead Marketer remote position, you will play a crucial role in shaping our communications strategy for the AI era. You will report to our Senior Director of Communications and help tell the HubSpot story to millions.

What You'll Do

  • Write compelling content that resonates with our audience, including press releases, blog posts, and social media content.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists to ensure effective communication.
  • Oversee major initiatives such as our annual INBOUND event and product announcements.
  • Stay calm and strategic during crises, ensuring effective communication and response.
  • Support team processes and collaborate closely with your colleagues to maintain organization.
  • Experiment with new approaches and AI tools to enhance our communications efforts.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate or B2B communications.
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Strong media relationships and instincts for pitching stories.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Experience in a public company is a plus.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and its applications in communications.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and willingness to innovate.
  • Boldness paired with good judgment in decision-making.
