Service Manager - Adult Services (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Service Manager - Adult Services (Remote) to join our team at Fife Council. In this pivotal leadership role, you will manage and develop high-quality services for adults with complex needs, ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards of care and compliance.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage a range of services within the Health & Social Care Partnership’s Complex and Critical Care portfolio.
• Oversee a regulated workforce and ensure compliance with scrutiny bodies such as the Care Inspectorate.
• Contribute to strategic planning and service redesign, driving continuous improvement across our services.
• Collaborate with partners to meet national and local priorities, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Manage complex staffing situations and build effective working relationships across the organization.

Requirements

• Proven managerial experience within a Social Work or Social Care setting.
• Experience in service and resource management, with strong project management skills.
• Educated to SCQF level 9 (degree or equivalent relevant professional qualification).
• Ability to lead change and contribute to strategic planning.
• Strong financial management skills and experience managing significant budgets.
