Laboratory Technician - Remote Opportunity at BRF

As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our products.

What You'll Do

• Conduct quality control checks on samples and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Prepare materials and equipment necessary for laboratory analyses.
• Perform basic laboratory analyses, ensuring results are completed within the lead time.
• Maintain the currency of laboratory procedures, instructions, and quality plans.
• Monitor stock levels of consumables and ensure their availability for analyses.
• Regularly perform maintenance, cleaning, calibration, and temperature checks on laboratory equipment.
• Prepare samples for external analysis as required.
• Maintain laboratory organization and hygiene standards, adhering to biosafety regulations.
• Comply with ISO 22000-HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 requirements.
• Ensure compliance with the Information Security Management System requirements under ISO 27001, protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of company information.
• Support other laboratories as needed under the supervision of your manager, executing tasks in accordance with policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Graduated from a 2-year associate degree program (Chemistry, Food Technology, Meat Technology, etc.).
• Preferably has laboratory experience or is eager to develop in this area.
• Ability to work at the Bandirma location.
• Knowledge of food safety and food technology standards is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Adherence to occupational health and safety regulations.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility.
• Able to work collaboratively with strong communication and teamwork skills.
