Purchasing Manager - Remote Role at Sogeclair

About the Role

We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to join our team at Sogeclair, a leading aerospace manufacturing company. This Purchasing Manager remote role will allow you to work closely with various operational teams while managing all purchasing operations outside of IT. As a Purchasing Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our procurement processes align with our economic goals and operational needs.

What You'll Do

• Act as the primary contact for all purchasing operations, including materials, COTS products, manufactured goods, and intellectual services.
• Analyze and understand internal requests, even under urgent circumstances, to align them with economic objectives.
• Research, qualify, and audit new suppliers while negotiating and securing the best conditions for the company.
• Oversee purchasing projects, managing contracts and orders to ensure quality, cost, and timelines are met.
• Facilitate supplier and internal meetings to ensure compliance with framework agreements and the Group's purchasing policy.

Requirements

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in Purchasing or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of purchasing techniques and levers, including standardization, massification, and competitive bidding.
• Knowledge of legal aspects related to purchasing and import/export.
• Proficient in office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ERP systems (SAGE X3, SAP).
• Intermediate English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) and fluent French.
• Skills in risk anticipation, project management, prioritization, negotiation, and project leadership.
• Personal attributes include adaptability, communication, perseverance, responsiveness, and rigor.
