Junior Buyer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Buyer to join our team at Mavi de Occidente. As a Junior Buyer remote, you will support the purchasing department in acquiring the necessary goods and services for our company's operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our procurement operations.

What You'll Do

• Process Orders: Manage and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements.
• Track Deliveries: Monitor deliveries to ensure products arrive on time and in optimal condition.
• Evaluate Suppliers: Participate in supplier evaluations by collecting and analyzing data on their performance and reliability.
• Basic Negotiation: Assist in negotiations with suppliers to secure the best conditions regarding price, quality, and delivery.
• Inventory Management: Help manage inventories by monitoring stock levels and coordinating replenishments as needed.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all purchasing transactions and prepare periodic reports for management review.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to identify and efficiently meet their purchasing needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Vehicle required (Sedan).
• Proficient in Excel and computer equipment.
• Strong numerical and percentage skills.
• Critical thinking and marketing techniques.
• Effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
