Senior Software Engineer - CI/​CD & Developer Tooling

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer - CI/CD & Developer Tooling to join our innovative team at Glia. In this role, you will design and evolve our internal platform, enabling over 100 engineers to build, test, and deploy software safely and efficiently. This is a unique opportunity to influence architecture decisions and enhance our CI/CD systems, making a significant impact on our engineering organization.

What You'll Do

• Own and improve our CI/CD systems, GitHub workflows, and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to reduce cognitive load and improve reliability.
• Design and build the “paved path” for developers, ensuring APIs are reliable and well-documented.
• Drive engineering efficiency by identifying bottlenecks and delivering automated solutions.
• Guide our roadmap by analyzing developer productivity and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Strong experience in system design and building highly available systems.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and containerized applications (Kubernetes).
• Prior experience leading complex projects across multiple teams.
• Proficient in Linux/Unix tools and ecosystem.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code principles.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Elixir, Ruby, or Go.
• Proactive ownership of projects and initiatives.
• Strong strategic thinking and rapport-building skills.
