Inventory Supervisor - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Supervisor remote to join our team at Rexel. This role is crucial for ensuring that our warehouse stock and systems are accurate, optimized, and reliable. As an Inventory Supervisor remote, you will be a WMS super-user, coach, and analyst, ensuring stock integrity and driving counting disciplines while supporting system changes to help the operation meet customer service targets.

What You'll Do

• Maintain WMS data integrity to optimize stock levels, storage space, and planning.
• Lead cycle count programs and turn count results into corrective actions that reduce losses.
• Coordinate stock transfers and rotations to protect product quality and availability.
• Support UAT and act as a super-user for WMS improvements and process changes.
• Train and support operational teams on WMS use and inventory best practices; provide refresher coaching.
• Monitor item data capture and resolve inaccuracies to keep the system audit-ready.
• Drive layout, housekeeping, and health-check routines to sustain efficient operations.
• Escalate risks and advise management on issues that could affect performance.
• Champion SHEQ standards and ensure team adherence to safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset; able to translate count data into practical improvements.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and supporting end users (super-user or admin experience).
• Intermediate Excel skills and comfort with Microsoft Office.
• Proven ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills with the ability to influence operational teams.
• Practical understanding of inventory control principles, stock rotation, and warehouse housekeeping.
• Experience working with shift teams, warehouse operatives, and cross-functional stakeholders.
