About the Role

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Internship for Python and Web Developer of Interactive Dashboards at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). This role is ideal for students eager to develop their skills in Python and web development while contributing to innovative projects in a leading research environment.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop software packages using Agile methodologies.
  • Create new features for interactive web dashboards that provide users with graphical and numerical products.
  • Develop unit tests for the web dashboard to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Contribute to the documentation of the software and processes.
  • Collaborate with the Data and Diagnostic Team to enhance operational services.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or Engineering-related discipline.
  • Strong development skills in Python, with a focus on web programming.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Previous experience with Dash and Plotly is a plus.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles is valued.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
