About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Product - Algorithmic Insurance Solutions to join our innovative team at Ki. As the Head of Product, you will lead the development of our pioneering algorithmic underwriting capabilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work remotely while shaping the future of insurance technology.

What You'll Do

• Partner with Algorithmic Underwriting leadership to set the long-term product strategy for algorithmic insurance solutions.
• Define the roadmap for our target-state Carrier product, aligning functionality with commercial goals and revenue models.
• Stay ahead of market and technology trends to identify opportunities to further digitize specialty insurance.
• Champion the work of cross-functional squads, helping the wider business understand how product decisions drive performance.
• Ensure teams focus on the most valuable problems for Carriers and clearly articulate trade-offs and cost–benefit considerations.
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative product culture across teams.
• Lead, mentor, and develop product managers—setting goals, providing feedback, and supporting their growth.

Requirements

• Strong commercial mindset with a clear understanding of how value is created within a business.
• Experience leading squads building data-intensive or machine-learning products.
• Solid grasp of data modeling and the potential of AI, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into impactful product features.
• Proven track record of taking products from concept to measurable business outcomes.
• Comfortable using data to guide decisions while navigating ambiguity and taking calculated risks.
• Skilled at making informed build/buy/partner decisions to maximize competitive advantage.
• Confident communicator and influencer across all levels of the organization.
• Experience partnering with senior leadership on broader business strategy.
