Group Director of Enterprise Solutions - Relocation Offered

About the Role

We are seeking a Group Director of Enterprise Solutions to join a premier diversified holding company in Abu Dhabi. This senior technology leader will play a crucial role in driving group-wide technology excellence, making this a unique opportunity for someone looking to make a significant impact in their career.

What You'll Do

• Lead the end-to-end accountability for the entire business-facing technology landscape.
• Oversee a core central team of 8 to 10 direct reports and a wider delivery ecosystem of 50 to 60 offshore and onshore specialists.
• Manage the full lifecycle of major enterprise platforms such as ERP (SAP or Oracle), Finance, HCM, and CRM.
• Inherit a pipeline of 15 to 20 large-scale initiatives, balancing future platform delivery with the continuous improvement of current operations.
• Act as a strategic partner to business executives across the group, reporting directly to the Chief Technology and Information Officer.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in enterprise technology leadership within large, diversified organizations.
• Proven experience leading massive end-to-end ERP transformations across HR, finance, and procurement in a global or multi-business setting.
• Demonstrated success in managing strategic vendor relationships and complex delivery ecosystems.
• Strong commercial judgment with a business-first mindset rather than a purely technical focus.
• Ability to navigate group politics and regional complexity while maintaining a calm and decisive leadership style.

Nice to Have

• Experience infusing automation and AI into large-scale enterprise operations.
• Experience running shared services, competency centers, or solution centers, ideally within European multinationals.
