As a Software Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in providing cutting-edge solutions to our clients while working from anywhere in the world. This position focuses on Level 3 (L3) Application Management and requires a strong understanding of various technologies.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain applications using J2EE 1.4 or later.
  • Manage application servers with Tomcat and implement Web Services, including Axis 2.
  • Utilize frameworks such as Struts, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot for application development.
  • Oversee project management using tools like Maven, Git, and Jira.
  • Handle reporting management on relational databases, particularly MySQL.
  • Work with the Linux operating system, including Bash shell scripting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on J2EE and related technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Tomcat, Web Services, Struts, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Maven, Git, and Jira.
  • Proficient in relational databases, specifically MySQL.
  • Familiarity with Linux OS and Bash shell scripting.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Availability to work 24/7 shifts in the Italian time zone (CET).
