About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineering Manager to join our team at AMR PEMCO, Inc. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead new electronics product development efforts while supporting and updating legacy products. As an Electronics Design Engineering Manager remote, you will play a crucial role in enhancing operational safety, productivity, and efficiency across various industries.

What You'll Do

• Lead and support new electronics product development efforts, ensuring high-quality design and functionality.
• Update and maintain legacy products to meet current industry standards and customer needs.
• Utilize your expertise in electrical and electronic circuit design to drive innovation.
• Oversee schematic capture and PCB layout, with a focus on using Altium software.
• Implement microcontroller and processor programming, particularly in C and Assembly languages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and alignment with business goals.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with industry trends.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering; a Master's degree is desired.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electronics design and engineering.
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout, with Altium experience preferred.
• Strong programming skills in C and Assembly for microcontrollers/processors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Management experience is a plus.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% as required.
