About the Role

Join JAM Restaurant Group as a Director of Operations and lead our dynamic team in enhancing operational efficiency across our growing franchise of Popeyes restaurants. This remote Director of Operations position is pivotal in shaping the future of our organization as we expand from 11 to 14 locations.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee all retail operations to ensure smooth functioning and profitability.
  • Establish consistent training programs and oversee the implementation of operational practices across all locations.
  • Evaluate staff processes and functions to improve store operations and enhance communication.
  • Monitor budgets and financial goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Work directly with store leaders to foster a high-performance culture and reduce employee turnover.
  • Conduct regular visits to restaurants to engage with staff and assess operational effectiveness.
  • Develop strategies to increase sales and improve customer experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining high operational standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of progressive leadership experience in restaurant operations.
  • Proven track record of achieving results and building successful teams.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
