Director, Commercial Finance FP&A - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We’re looking for a Director, Commercial Finance FP&A to join us in a remote capacity for a 12-month maternity cover. This Director of FP&A remote position is pivotal in ensuring the timely and accurate consolidation of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans, while collaborating across teams to identify key opportunities and risks.

What You'll Do

• Lead the FP&A Team: Manage and guide the FP&A team in the preparation and consolidation of rolling forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans across the organization.
• Collaborate with Business Partners: Act as a key partner to finance business partners across Corporate and Tech and senior leadership, providing financial insights and support to help achieve business objectives.
• Opportunity and Risk Management: Lead the collation of financial opportunities and risks, ensuring a clear understanding of the likely financial outturn.
• Financial Systems Development: Work closely with the systems team to design, develop, and transform finance systems, focusing on driving efficiencies and enhancing reporting capabilities.
• Strategic Decision Support: Provide financial leadership in the decision-making process by delivering timely, accurate, and actionable financial data and analysis to senior management.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead the continuous enhancement of FP&A processes and tools, ensuring they are scalable, accurate, and aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.

Requirements

• High proficiency in financial modelling, scenario planning, and long-term forecasting.
• Exceptional business partnering skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively with a range of senior stakeholders.
• Strong experience in finance systems, data transformation, and driving efficiencies through process improvements.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to provide strategic financial insights and drive financial performance improvements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across finance teams and the broader business.
• Ability to analyse complex financial data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
• Proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or similar finance leadership roles, with a strong focus on budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
