Finance & Accounting Internship - Summer 2026

About the Role

Join Warner Bros. Discovery as a Finance & Accounting Intern this Summer 2026. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the finance department of a leading media and entertainment company. As a Finance & Accounting Intern, you will support daily accounting processes and ensure accurate financial reporting while collaborating with teams across EMEA, Nordics, and LATAM.

What You'll Do

• Assist in preparing monthly journal entries to ensure the accuracy and completeness of revenue reporting within the EMEA region.
• Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports, including balance sheet reconciliations, SEC schedules, and bad debt provision calculations.
• Collaborate in performing a detailed quarterly balance sheet analysis for the EMEA region and share findings with finance leaders, including the WBD Chief Accounting Officer.
• Provide active support for the implementation of internal controls in line with the SOX framework.
• Assist with both internal and external audit procedures as required.
• Manage “Film and Series” assets and amortization for various WBD channels, including but not limited to TVN, Discovery, Animal Planet, and Eurosport.
• Participate in Fixed Assets Accounting, including asset capitalization, depreciation, and periodic reviews; reconciling intercompany balances and resolving differences; analyzing accruals and prepayments.

Requirements

• Currently in the final year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in core accounting principles, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
• Active involvement in student organizations, demonstrating initiative and leadership potential.
• Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
• A proactive, open-minded, and motivated approach to learning and professional development.
• A strong analytical mindset paired with advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Fluency in both English and Polish.

Nice to Have

• Previous internship experience in finance or accounting.
• Familiarity with financial software and tools.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
